     Jack Doyle is a writer and consultant who has also worked in Washington, D.C. as a public policy analyst and lobbyist.  He has written several books of nonfiction and his articles and Op-Eds have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe and other publications.  Much of his past work has been investigative, covering energy and environmental issues, business history, and public policy.  He has also served as a consultant to public agencies and private-sector clients, spoken before university and trade group audiences, and has appeared occasionally on radio and TV.  His work at this website is focused on contemporary history, popular culture, media and politics, and business history.  To date, he has written more than 200 stories at The Pop History Dig.  In addition to his work at this website, he is available as a consultant and contract writer for selected research projects.  Contact him directly at: jdoyle@pophistorydig.com.
